Connecting people and communities through the NDIS
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) offers people with a permanent or significant disability, support to help them live independently, build skills and embrace community.
At Global Disability Support Services, your choices are our focus and priority. We are proud to provide services that make you feel safe and supported, while also remaining independent and in control of the services and supports you receive.
Global Disability Support Services is a boutique family-owned business that provides caring support to individuals with disabilities. We have qualified, skilled and experienced male and female support workers that hat cover areas in Ipswich, Gold Coast, Northside, Brisbane City and Logan. We offer a range of services including Personal care, Community Access, Mentoring and domestic assistance, We understand the importance of finding the right support worker for each client, so we take the time to match them accordingly to ensure a long and successful partnership. Our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Co founder Wayne Tynan had a stroke 2 years ago which left him with a disability (Left side weakness) and requiring the use of a wheel chair so he knows the importance of finding the right support worker. His experience has been instilled in how our company provides the highest quality care for our clients.
We also believe in making our services affordable and accessible, so we are open to negotiating hourly rates and travel costs. If you or someone you know could benefit from our support, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are here to help and make a positive difference in the lives of those we serve.
The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.
The NDIS also connects anyone with disability to services in their community.
This includes connections to doctors, community groups, sporting clubs, support groups, libraries and schools, as well as providing information about what support is provided by each state and territory government.
The NDIS now supports over 500,000 Australians with disability to access the services and supports they need.
This includes supporting approximately 80,000 children with developmental delay, ensuring they receive supports early so that they achieve the best outcomes throughout their lives.
